2022 Clos Pepe Chardonnay

Initially, we had planned to use these 2 barrels in our Golden Slope Chardonnay but, like our Rita's Crown bottling, we felt compelled to set these gems aside and give them their own bottling.

Barrel fermented and aged in French oak (15% new) for 15 months prior to bottling. We suggest that folks give this bottling a year or two to open up. With ample time, we expect great things from this wine. It should certainly be nostalgic to those that were fans of the Clos Pepe Chardonnays from the early 2000's.
